Each member of our team of skilled advisers has managed a major business sector at a senior level, and has been responsible for the successful implementation of major projects in the manufacturing and service-related sectors in the UK, Europe, North America and South Africa. In addition to general management skills, each consultant has a particular area of expertise and the knowledge base to draw upon to help diagnose the specific needs of your business.
Dennis Roycroft
Dennis has 35 years experience in the automotive and engineering sectors.
He has held management positions in both the UK and South
Africa, and has been responsible for engineering functions
in the US. His sepcialisms include all aspects of manufacturing
including component manufacture and assembly, lean manufacturing,
communication, management and leadership skills, plus the
implementation of advanced technology, quality and financial
systems. He also has detailed experience of environmental
concerns and issues within manufacturing and engineering,
and was responsible for leading teams to the successful
accreditation of ISO14001 and ISO9002. In addition, he has
developed asset management initiatives, which have reduced
manufacturing cost base and improved profitability. Dennis
played a major role in the private/public sector initiative
which lead to the Heart of Thames Gateway regneration programme.

Phil Taylor
Phil Taylor has an MA in Industrial Relations from Warwick Business School.
He has over 30 years experience in human resource management
involving all aspects of employee relations, including negotiation
of efficiencies, grievance procedures and handling of disputes
with TU representatives mainly with the T&GWU and Amicus
at Plant and District Officer level. He was also a member
of the Ford hourly and salaried national level negotiation
bodies. Phil was Vehicle Operations Employee Relations Manager
at the time of the cessation of vehicle assembly at the
Ford Dagenham plant and the closure involved both redeployment
and voluntary redundancies over a two-year period whilst
maintaining vehicle assembly until the plant finally closed.
Other positions held include Director Ford Britain Trust
and Position Evaluation Specialist for Ford of Europe.

Jim Eyre
Jim Eyre holds an Economics Degree from Glasgow University and has 35
years experience in the automotive sector. He has held management
positions in the UK< Germany and in the United States.
He is specialist in the implementation of advanced quality
systems and also has experience in Human Resources and Manufacturing.
He has successfully led teams that have introduced both
Ford internal quality systems and accreditation of ISO9000
and QS-9000. Since retirement from full-time employment,
Jim has worked with a subsidiary of Mahle in Salisbury to
improve Mould Shop & Assembly quality for large plastic
moulded components. He has also spent nearly two years working
with a privitised Fuel Injection Pump Manufacturer in Romania,
leading this Plant to ISO9000 (Year 2000) accreditation
and also TS16949 accreditation for product lines for major
automotive supplier companies, such as Delphi and LUK.

Frank Doyle
Frank Doyle has over 30 years epxierience in cost and financial analysis
in the automotive and component supply industry. He has
held management positions in the UK and in Germany at both
operational and staff level. During his career he travelled
extensively working on strategic finance assignments in
the US, Mexico and Italy. He holds a Social Science (Economics)
Degree. His experience covers many key financial aspects
such as project appriaisals for product sourcing and production
systems, identifying and tracking performance measurables,
due diligence analysis for acquisitions and mergers and
formulating strategic business plans. He has been actively
involved in corporate restructuring, cost appraisals for
alternative manufacturing sites and determining affordable
product cost structures consistent within agreed business
objectives. Most recently, he has worked in Eastern Europe
and the UK as a Business Advisor for takeovers and contract
tendering.

Ray Phillips
Ray Phillips has 39 years manufacturing experience in the automotive manufacturing
environment, 25 years in various managerial positions. He
has a BEng (Hons) Manufacturing Systems Engineering, MSc
in Environmental Engineering from Portsmouth University
and is a Chartered Engineer. He has worked on large Powertrain
projects in UK, France, Spain, Germany, Mexico and North
America. His specialisms include all aspects of Power Train
manufacturing including component manufacture, assembly,
plant layout and lean manufacturing. He has extensive experience
in the implementation of advanced technology and unique
environmentally oriented projects. He also has extensive
experience of implementing and teaching Lean Manufacturing
and quality operating system skills within manufacturing
facilities globally. Recent work has involved the implementation
of Health and Safety systems within the construction industry
and offering productivity improvement advice to SME's in
the London area.

John Faragher
John Faragher holds an MBA from City University London and has 36 years
experience in the automotive sector. He has held management
positions in the UK, Germany and Spain and through his career,
numerous Supply Chain Management and Purchasing assignments
have taken him to the US, South America, South Africa and
the Far East. He has extensive experience of Supply Chain
Management, focusing on JIT delivery, Inventory Control,
Quality, Logistics and Transportation. He has detailed experience
of leading teams in the development and implementation of
processes to assist a worldwide supply base with ever changing
customer requirements. He has extensive purchasing experience
gained as a Senior Purchasing Manager, and was the Purchasing
Launch Manager for the introduction of Ford Fiesta in Cologne
and the Mazda 2 in Valencia. His experience also covers
many key areas including product/supplier sourcing, and
contract negotiation. Most recently he has been working
with a number of component suppliers within the manufacturing
industry, assisting with and developing supply chain management
processes and procedures.
